Presidents Circle

The following board and committee leaders generously volunteered their time to lead and manage ANA Business Marketing of Northern California (formerly NORCAL BMA). We thank them for their dedication and service to enriching the professional lives of business-to-business marketers.

Ted Konen

IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

Ted Kohnen

Ted has served on the ANA Business Marketing NorCal Board of Directors in different capacities over the years. First as VP of Finance and then as the Chapter's President from 2016-2018. In his role, Ted works closely with the Board to develop and execute educational programs, events and other opportunities that continually offer great value to ANA Business Marketing members.

Ted is an advertising agency executive who currently serves as President of the digital agency, Retina (a Transiris Company). As President, he works closely with CEOs, CMOs and other marketing decision makers on the development and execution of business, product and marketing strategies in order to accelerate business performance.

He is charged with the integration of a world-class marketing technology offering that includes AI, marketing automation, CRM and business intelligence and data solutions with award winning marketing strategy, creative and brand/demand go-to-market solutions. Throughout his career, he has pushed the boundaries of marketing and advertising. He and his teams have won numerous ANA Business Marketing awards and marketing technology accolades. Ted has led key account wins and assignments with ADP, Boeing, Centurylink, LG, NCR, Oracle, Tata Consultancy Services, Weight Watchers and Western Union.
Ted earned his B.A in International Business and Management from Dickinson College and his M.S. in Technology Management from Columbia University.

PRESIDENT 2012-2016

Tony Harris

Harris is a former President for ANA Business Marketing of Northern California (formerly NORCAL BMA). He has over 15-years experience in B2B enterprise technology marketing and is currently Sr Manager, Global Demand Center at NetApp in Sunnyvale, where he is leading global teams to programs to deliver marketing qualified leads to sales. Prior to NetApp, Tony was Senior Marketing Manager at Cisco, responsible for strategic programs in the service provider market. Prior to Cisco Tony served as Director of Worldwide Demand Generation at Genesys, preceded by assignments as Product Marketing Manager and Consultant launching products at Adobe, Intuit, and three start-ups. Tony served as a Captain in the US Air Force and earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelors of Business from USC. He lives in San Francisco.
